USE OF INDUSTRIAL GAS:

Cafe El Marino started using Industrial Gas in the boiler on September 9, 1998.

RESULTS:

When Cafe El Marino began using Industrial Gas, an adjustment to the air / fuel mixture was performed. They immediately noticed that the burners produced a better, more consistant flame which indicates better combustion.

In October they analyzed the gas consumption {Ltrs. of LPG used / Kg. of coffee produced} using historical data compared to the production for the month.

The results were as follows:
Prior to Industrial Gas;
* January, 1998 - 3.57 Liters per Kg. Produced
* February, 1998 - 3.46 Liters per Kg. Produced

After using Industrial Gas;
* September, 1998 - 2.87 Liters per Kg. Produced
* October, 1998 - 2.78 Liters per Kg. produced

The net savings in LPG consumption was 22%. An additional benefit noted was Carbon Monoxide emission reduction. The original average of 6 ppm was reduced to almost Zero.

Given the results obtained, Cafe El Marino decided to start using Industrial Gas in the oven starting on October 26, 1998.
