PRO 2000-E(TM) FLEET PROFILE
Company: Whiting Brownstown Distribution Center, Inc.

20501 Pennsylvania Rd.
Riverview, MI 48192
313 664 4526
Contact: Jeffrey A. Barr
Equipment Service Manager
Fleet: 25 propane lift trucks and 3 propane sweepers.
Prior to using PRO 2000-E treated fuel, Whiting Distribution:
Had problems with high CO levels in the warehouse including
employee complaints and air quality citations from MIOSHA.
Had considered purchasing catalytic converters because of these
problems with a bottom line of $1000.00 per unit.
Was spending spending $3000 to $4000 per year for parts to
replace or rebuild fuel system components (vaporizers, carburetors
and lockoffs) due to heavy end deposits. This was a constant problem. These costs do
not reflect labor or downtime which were considerably more than the
hardware.
Since using PRO 2000-E treated fuel, Whiting Distribution:
Has maintained air quality levels within MIOSHA standards
without purchasing and
installing any catalytic converters. No employee complaints or air quality citations.
Has purchased only $300 to $400 worth of fuel system
parts per year
(a 90% reduction). Additive treated propane also
resulted in being able to have thousands of
dollars less tied up in fuel system parts inventory
Has been able to free up many hours of mechanic's time
for non-fuel related maintenance such
as repairs including safety items which were sometimes neglected.
Summary:
Mr. Barr says that he would recommend PRO 2000-E treated fuel to
all users of propane powered equipment. It makes his job easier as well
as pleasing the financial & safety departments.
